How Do I Create Subpages?

What are Subpages?

 

Subpages are secondary pages that are nested under a primary or parent page, which creates a hierarchical structure for your notes. They help you keep related content together and make it easier to navigate through a large number of pages.


Subpages are usually indented, as indicated below. They can be collapsed under its parent page by clicking on the arrow button.


How Do I Create Subpages?

To create a single subpage, right-click on the page you would like to convert into a subpage and select "Make Subpage".

 

To create multiple subpages, click on the first page you would like to convert into a subpage, hold the "SHIFT" button on your keyboard, and click on the last page. Right-click on any of the selected pages and select "Make Subpage". Alternatively, you can also quickly drag and drop a page under a list of existing subpages.


To change a subpage back to a regular page, you can right-click on the page and select "Promote Subpage".
